Seminars on Mathematics subject for the GCE O/L Students (2024 batch) were held at J/Ilavalai St. Henry’s College on 26-01-2025 by HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna from 8.45 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Educational Assistance to Economic Crisis & War Affected Poor Children in Northern Province of Sri Lanka 2024/25, funded by Caritas Korea through the National Centre, Caritas Sri Lanka-SEDEC (CSL) is being implemented for nearly six years.
Revd. Sr. Amirtharani, Principal, J/Ilavalai Holy Family Convent School delivered the introductory talk at the seminar. 135 Students from J/Ilavalai, St. Henry’s College, J/Ilavalai Holy Family Girls MV and J/Ilavalai Meikandan MV benefitted.
The seminar was conducted by St. Patrick’s College teachers Mr. V. Nanthivarman and Mr. R. Kajeepan by answering model papers in Part I & II. These seminars were organised by Miss. Nithila Mariampillai, Programme Manager and Miss. Dorin Kawsalya, Finance Officer of HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna. The Hall arrangements were done by Revd. Fr. A. Mac Mayooran, Rector & Revd. Fr. P. Renard Cherilnes, Vice Rector of J/Ilavalai St. Henry’s College and we thank them.
